It is made in kutch, Gujarat and is distinguished by its color-Indigo blue with Madder(Red) and its complex geometric & floral Patters, It”s name is deived from ‘Azarak’, blue in Arabic & Persian.
It is one of the oldest Traditional Block Printing style availbale in INDIA, Actually azrak will do on fabric only for the use of garments and saris and other home furnishing items, here we have tried on our Warangal Woven Dhurrie.
