Ajrak Is a block-printed textile that is resist-dyed using natural dyes, including indigo and madder and some other natural colors. It is made in Kutch, Gujarat and is distinguished by its color-Indigo blue with Madder (Red) and its complex geometric & floral Patterns, It”s name is derived from ‘Azarak’, blue in Arabic & Persian.
It is one of the oldest Traditional Block Printing style available in INDIA, Actually Azrak will do on fabric only for the use of garments and saris and other home furnishing items, here we have tried on our Warangal Woven Dhurrie.
